The only reason I still prefer webtoon is that everything is in one place and I'm used to the format, but I agree with the other comment: webtoon is becoming a dumpster fire of pop up ads and recommendations. I think substack is fine for now because I get emails, but I would say if you ever move platforms again just make sure it has a notification system! I would never remember to check it otherwise.
I only just got substack and haven't actually read anything in substack, but webtoons, while I like the formatting, is a dumpster fire of sketchy ads and recommendations until I frantically click to my subscriptions tab, so I'm not really sure. I do really love Zelda's Lullaby and hope to read some of your other comics at some point!
Thanks for your input. I do think substack is good for sending out email notifications, but I think some people are struggling with reading the archive--because depending on the platform (Desktop vs app) the navigation isn't stellar. It's something I'm still working on!
I remember you were having so much difficulties with Webtoons, so I don't think going back for the sake of "convenience" is the way to go. In any case, I also subscribe to your Patreon, so I also get it early.
As far as scheduling goes... I don't really mind, so long as it works for you. I remember you saying about your health (physical and mental) and your family previously, and those are definitely your priority. But if you can aim for a couple of pages a month (again, whatever works for you), then we will be here to enjoy it :)
Thanks for your input! While my health has improved quite a bit, I am still quite busy! (amazing how that happens.) Based on the poll so far, I think I'll aim to update every couple of weeks, which seems manageable to me. :)
I wouldn't say I enjoy using substack, but that's not because I prefer webtoons, it's just more difficult to navigate for me. so for reading the older chapters, I sometimes head over to webtoon cause that's more comfortable.
but you said that webtoon isn't a comfortable environment anymore (a lot of authors have similar update pages and now have to wait until the contract expires so they can post somewhere else) so I don't think you should force yourself to go back. rather than that, you could look for other comic hosting platforms and see if they fit YOU, first and foremost. if you find one, you can ask us readers again. but it should be about where you want to post, not where we would like to see your comic.
what I'm trying to say is: I really like yout storytelling so I'll most likely follow you to any platform where you post (as long as there's some kind of free membership cause I don't have that much money) and I'm pretty sure that many others will as well
Thank you for your input! I appreciate your thoughts. I do think reading through the archive on Substack can be pretty clunky, especially if your on the app/phone. So I would love to find a platform that works better for that. I'm still open to new platforms, but I don't think I've found the right one yet. Thanks for being to follow me wherever I go!

Yes, If I can get on another platform or build one, I'd definitely like it to have some sort of notification system! Thank you for your input :)
