In my latest Temerity Kickstarter campaign I decided to start a series of character cards! These cards have basic information about the Temerity characters that you can collect and even use for your table-top RPG game. If you’re a DM and you need a random NPC character to put into your game for your players to interact with, you can use these cards as a quick reference and inspiration. These are designed specifically with no information other than their pictures on the front so the DM can keep character details secret from the players until they want to reveal that information.

I really enjoyed putting these together and I’m excited to make even more of the Temerity and Eldair character cards in future campaigns!

The Starship Temerity and Factions

I wanted to go ahead and share some of the bonus Temerity content that I put together for the printed version of issue #2. This includes information about the Temerity ship, the different factions in the Temerity world and a note about endangered languages. I personally love world building and trying to create believable worlds for the characters to live in.

In the new bonus scene in chapter 1, we learn more about the crew’s dismal financial situation. Unfortunately, it’s not as simple as just selling the contract and getting a smaller ship. Due to economic and other unfortunate circumstances, they couldn’t sell the ship for more than they owe. So it’s either make the money or die trying. (Or get a job a call center. They’re always hiring, right?)

This amazing ship design was done by Chad Hardin, who was the original artist on the project. Good thing too, cause I know nothing about ships! Haha!

Temerity 1: Sayonara - A Sci-fi Animated Comic

Guardians of the Galaxy meets Firefly in this sci-fi comic! He's a very serious genetically enhanced super-soldier. She's a less serious sugar-addicted mercenary. Together they're the best work-for-hire duo in the galaxy.

It was so fun to put this first chapter of Temerity together in the multimedia format. (though a lot of work, haha!). Being able to work with all the voice actors was a new experience and so much fun. I even made some new friends doing it! Anyways, I hope you enjoy this way of experiencing the Temerity story. Hopefully I’ll have episode 2 done in a few months?
