As of this point, the artists are currently working on the first 10 pages of the next chapter. They don’t have a set date on when they will complete them, but hopefully you’ll start seeing new content about mid-February. (Mid-March for free subscribers.)

In the meantime... I’m working on getting Temerity #4 ready to crowdfund and get it printed! I’m excited to get that book crowdfunded especially since Chad has returned to illustrate the cover! Be sure to check out the campaign and sign up to be notified the moment it goes live!

December is here! I always like the Christmas season and I’ve already got my Christmas tree all set up (still working on the other decorations though.) This week is busy as I’ll be selling my art at Dragon Steel Nexus. I expect December will be busy with the holidays and family events, but I do hope to have time to sit by the fire and get some art done. My health has continued to improve with every passing week and I’m looking forward to a winter free of chronic depression and illness.

Sundogs, or parhelions, happen when the light refracts off of ice crystals in the air creating a halo. This rare phenomenon can happen on crisp, frigid days when the sun approaches the horizon.

It’s doubtful I’ll ever see a sundog, but I often find myself looking out my window and finding peace in the sky above me. While I don’t care for the inversions during the winter (which is caused by the natural geography of where I live) it does lead to some pretty fantastic sunsets. I often feel like the sky itself is the most beautiful canvas, always shifting from any moment of the day. We truly live in a beautiful world.

Hi everyone! I know it’s been a hot minute since I posted new Temerity pages. It’s been a weird few months. I’m going to start searching for a new line artist as my current artist has been rather unreliable and hasn’t been hitting deadlines that we’ve agreed to. So if you know anyone who would like to apply and send me their portfolio, I’d love to see them! It is a paid position.

Also, I’ve had some readers request that I start posting both formats of the pages, so I’ll try to post both the original comic format as well as the vertical scroll for easier mobile reading.

Also, I am tentatively naming this chapter “Under Threat,” which seems appropriate. Though such a chapter title could probably fit any number of future chapters of this comic. Haha!

I'm still trying to figure out a title for this chapter. Titling chapters is haaaard. I understand why most authors don't do it and just number them. Haha! Anyways, I'm happy to get this story back up and rolling again. Thanks for your patience over the summer as I tackled and focused on my health. I've been doing really well the last week or so and I've made a lot of progress in my health! I'm excited to see where my health journey continues to take me.

Taeru's not really one to complain about physical pain and illness.

I really love my colorist for this project. They do such a good job! I did some of the backgrounds on these pages. I created view looking out the window and I built the hangar on the Temerity in 3D for this. There are some things I wish I could push further in these, like more details and things, but I also don't want to overextend my artist. So it's kinda a delicate balance of figuring out what to add and what to leave out.

I remember when I first started writing the scripts to this comic, I had to explain to all my beta readers what bubble (boba) tea was. It hadn’t made it to the United States at that point and they thought it was the weirdest thing. Now it seems like most people know what it is and you can buy it from a normal grocery store! Nice to know I was ahead of the time in my love for bubble tea! Haha!

I can't even express how much work went into that page with the full spread view of Blitz station. XD Many many hours went into building the 3D models and rendering it out. I think it turned out pretty good though! One of my readers actually built the ring in 3D (Jylani) and then I populated it with buildings using Unreal and Cargo. A fair amount was painted by me as well as rendered with the help of Invoke. Then the artist put the people on top. But now that I have the 3D model I can use it for the many backgrounds coming up in the next 5+ issues!

Finally finished this little bonus comic featuring Foresight! This one was fun to work on with trying to show how Foresight might see the world being blind but also having aura synesthesia. She makes an unlikely ally and she's gonna pave her own path!
