This is one of those moments where writing the script and then having the art done just didn’t match up. I named all of the Enlightenment ships after colors (Pokemon city-style) but then all the ships ended up being painted red??? Because the company’s brand colors are red, gold, and white??? Thus. Captain Deg’s ship is red, even though it’s name is The Cerulean. face palm

Maybe when it comes time to print the graphic novel I’ll rename the ships. Or do them different colors. Probably makes more sense to rename them...

This Anton character turned out to be much different than Edith expected.

Just Evander spying while eating his popcorn.

I’m excited to announce that I have a new comic website! My husband has been building this for months now, and it’s now ready to be shown off to the world. He’s still working on a few bugs here and there and he’s still adding in some features, but it’s functioning! It has my entire comic archive up as well as some extra content. And if you log in via the Patreon button, it will unlock all the paid content and track your reading progress! (I am still working to see if we can integrate subscribers on Substack, but they don’t have an API?) It also supports both desktop and mobile reading, depending on what device you’re using when you access the site.

I’m so excited to have this new home for all of my work!

(And don’t worry, I’ll still be posting via Substack/my newsletter so you can get the content emailed to you.)

Chapter 6 begins! Looks like maybe things are turning around for the better?

Wait, that can’t be right. That would be too easy.

Thanks to people’s feedback, I’m going to aim to update comics every-other week. This might be between 1-3 pages, depending on the project and how much progress I’m able to make during those two weeks. Hopefully I can be a bit more consistent with things?

Awwww, yeaaah! That completes chapter 5 of Temerity! Whoooo! I hope you enjoyed this chapter and learning more about the Temerity crew. Looks like Edith’s got a plan that surely couldn’t go wrong.

As of this point, the artists are currently working on the first 10 pages of the next chapter. They don’t have a set date on when they will complete them, but hopefully you’ll start seeing new content about mid-February. (Mid-March for free subscribers.)

In the meantime... I’m working on getting Temerity #4 ready to crowdfund and get it printed! I’m excited to get that book crowdfunded especially since Chad has returned to illustrate the cover! Be sure to check out the campaign and sign up to be notified the moment it goes live!

Some forced inner reflection is always good for the soul. Right?

These pages were a lot of fun to work on! Sometimes I send these storyboards to the artist and I have to cross my fingers and hope that they’ll turn out good, and I really think that they did! I’m really grateful to work with such great artists :)

*Edit : Apparently I did not schedule this update to release on the correct day, so you got the next update before this one. Sorry about that!

Just a little nightmare fuel for Taeru. Though he probably has had plenty of that from his life as a soldier.

Also, for those who read Children of Eldair, you might recognize a little cross-over here!

Another Kuna! She likes to just hang out in the dark all by herself.

December is here! I always like the Christmas season and I’ve already got my Christmas tree all set up (still working on the other decorations though.) This week is busy as I’ll be selling my art at Dragon Steel Nexus. I expect December will be busy with the holidays and family events, but I do hope to have time to sit by the fire and get some art done. My health has continued to improve with every passing week and I’m looking forward to a winter free of chronic depression and illness.

I hope you are all having a good start to the month!

Why, yes. Evander does spend his free time trying to spoof lie-detecting machines.

Random fact: Mark was actually born and raised in Hong Kong, China and is fluent in Mandarin, English, and galactic. If I were a brave writer, I would attempt to write in his Chinese accent, but the thought of that scares me. ^^;;;
